  1. 1 I think that you both had a wonderful introduction and presences that carried throughout your entire presentation. The strong connection your offered with that helped the subject material. I didn't know that Johnny Cash joined the Air Force or that he had lost his brother to a whirl saw accident.
2 I think that the ideal of having the song was an great Ideal, but you might want to check for Tech problems before you are presenting. Less surprises that way.

  2. 1. The best thing about the presentation was the coverage of why he is an iconic character, you guys gave a well detailed explanation of his background and the path he took after dealing with a fallout in drugs and alcohol and how he rose with fame. I thought you both spoke very clearly. I didn't know that he always wore black to give the message that we should pay attention to those that are in poverty, that is a very interesting fact to know about him and his ideals.
    2. Like Charlie said, it would have been best to have the video prepared before you guys went up so that the transition could be smoother, other than that I didn't find any other real problems with your presentation.

  3. 1. I thought you both did an excellent job knowing and relaying how iconic Jonny Cash was. You both were really well prepared and had excellent background information on him. I had no idea he was inducted into three different Hall of Fames.
    2. Like Brian and Charlie said, having the video pulled up before your presentation so you wouldn't have had any Tech problems, and it could have gone a little smoother, other than that I thought you guys did a really good job.

  4. 1. You guys did a wonderful job with your presentation. Both of you spoke very clearly and both of you keep very good eye contact. Also, you guys did a good job presenting, it was interesting to listen to and held my attention well. You guys also did a good job talking about why he was iconic instead of just spitting back information about him. I didn't know that he used to play in prison shows to get his career started back up.
    2. Like Charlie and Brian said, the only problem I saw with the presentation is the video not working but you guys did a good job filling for it not working with suggesting everyone to watch it in their free time.

  5. 1. I loved the way that the presentation went. I did not know that Johnny Cash had been inducted into so many different Hall of Fames. I did not know how much the death of his brother affected him. I also had never understood why he wore black all the time.
    2. Next time I would just check for technical problems beforehand.

  7. 1. I thought this presentation was excellent. I could tell that you knew a lot about Johnny Cash already, and note card usage was minimal. You guys had my attention the entire time. I liked how you directly explained why he was iconic instead of dancing around it. Great job. I had no idea that he always wore black.
    2. The sound link, but that's it.

  8. 1.) I think the best thing about your presentation is how well it flowed together. Both of you were prepared and the transitions between the two of you were done very well. I knew absolutely nothing about Johnny Cash going in to this presentation and you guys did a great job informing me about his entire life and why he is iconic.
2.) Like all the others said, having the video work would have been a great addition, especially for me since I've never actually listened to him.

  9. Definitely one of the best presentations so far. I liked all the information you had to share with us, while also giving your personal opinion of him. You really laid out three main reasons he was and still is an icon.
Really nothing too bad, yes I would have liked to see the video but I think the rest of your presentation made up for that tiny mistake.

  10. 1.) You guys blew it out of the water! and like Rachel said, One of the best presentations by far! You guys fed of each other and were really comfortable with one another on presenting the material. The coolest thing I learned was that Johnny Cash had a whole bunch of albums and singles and that he kept at it until his death.
2.) Hard to be picky, but if I had to choose, I would say the technical difficulties, but other than that, you guys did a hell of a job!

  11. 1) Incredible presentation. Not only did you have a lot of technical details on Johnny Cash, you were also able to talk about the impacts he had on society and yourselves.
    2) One thing I would improve on is that on the conclusion slide, you were bringing in new information about Johnny Cash. I would put those details sometime before the conclusion.

  12. 1. I like the way that you chose to present. It was an awesome presentation and I learned a lot about Johnny Cash that I never knew before. Unbelievable the amount of albums and songs that he has influenced.
    2. Overall really good, just double check for tech problems. :)

  13. 1) I was really impressed by how interested you two were in your project and your research. My cousin and I used to listen to Ring of Fire when we were younger, and that song is really what got me into his music. He truly is an inspirational person, especially with overcoming the obstacles that his lifetime brought. There's no wonder why he is so iconic.
    2) I have to agree with Dixon that toward the end of the presentation, I felt like new information kept coming at me. But, I think your presentation had to be my favorite so far!

  14. I'll be honest, I thought you guys did one of the best jobs out of everyone with the way you formatted and presented your project. You both have great presentation skills and seemed incredibly knowledgeable about your topic. You presented the perfect amount of back story, facts, interesting quips, and thesis. The presentation was very easy to follow and you both made it interesting by adding personal anecdotes.

The only thing that went wrong was your link. It's pretty hard to check if they will work on his computer, though, so I can't place much blame for that. You played it off well.

  15. your group did a number of things well during the presentation, you gave a great overview of his life before his music career took off, and also showed the audience really why he was an icon.
A bit of criticism to add would have been to discuss the mans legacy after death and what he left behind for the next generation in music.

  17. 1.) I thought you guys had a wonderful presentation! Eye contact and a clear voice was key to keeping the audience's attention and you guys did so wonderfully. I learned so much about Johnny Cash that I didn't already know, and I thought the information you guys included highlighted his legacy perfect.
2.) The only criticism I have is that you guys didn't include much about what he contributed to music even to this day. Otherwise, it was one of the best I've seen!

  18. I really liked how the presenters came off as very passionate about the subject and made the presentation all that more interesting. I also liked how you brushed off your broken link and didn't let it affect your presentation. I just wish there was a little more information on when he was poor or talk a little more about what he did in the Air force.

  19. This was by far my favorite presentation. Both of you guys seemed very interested about your topic and that made it awesome as a listener. I have always loved Johnny Cash and this presentation took us through the side of Cash that not everyone knows about.
My only critique is the link that failed to work. However, I know this isn't your guys' fault and I overall loved the presentation regardless.

  21. Your presentation was amazing. You had a great hook, which many presentations lacked. I liked how you guys didn't state every single thing that happened in his life but you focused on what he stands for and symbolizes. The only thing I would like to know more about was how he was before he started singing and how he was from nothing.
