EXP 5: Getting Rich with Science - Brian Klunder

The main purpose of the article that Mr. Money Mustache wrote was about how we should embrace science and its factual evidence to further improve our standing in life, not reject it to put ourselves in an echo-chamber where we constantly think to ourselves that we are always right about everything and nothing is wrong with our reasoning whatsoever.

The strengths of this article are based around Mr. Money Mustache's well-thought out comment on the mental state of, not only Jared, but also a good chunk of people that reside in our country over the denial of science and their narcissism. He also uses past writings as examples to have more  of a strong position in this arguement, conside ring that they are all well written.
The weaknesses of this article is that he doesn't use other examples from different sources to help explain his logical point of view with science, to help one of his critics understand why science shouldn't be denied but accepted.

I agree with his stance about science and how, even when it takes a shot on what we believe, should never be denied and expunged from our life. Mainly because science allows us to have a better understanding of the world we live in, and tells us about how we can better ourselves and whether or not we are having a negative impact around others and the world and for that reason alone it is beneficial to our success in life.

My recommendation for a website that I personally think that is both educational and worth the time-investment is www.youtube.com considering that there is a gargantuan amount of varied content that you can browse and view that you find to be suitable to your educational needs, along with other videos you can watch for entertainment.

  1. I'm a big time user of youtube, usually for music but occasionally for "instructional" videos. I enjoyed talking with you about how science is meant to help us, not to give a bias opinion used only for arguments.

  2. Considering the website that I recommended I found on YouTube makes me definitely a supporter of the website! The only thing is that it also can be a very distracting and non-educational tool you just have to be careful when trying to find whatever you're looking for.
