Is a Costco Membership Worth The Cost?

People aren't so sure about Costco and how much you actually save since you have to have a membership that costs $50 a year. So Mr. Money Mustache shows us what groceries he buys and how much they cost at Costco and has it side by side compared to the prices at Safeway supermarket. Costco's total cost was $401.48 while Safeway was $690.67. By going to Costco he saves 41% ($283.16). After Subtracting the membership cost he still saves close to about $1000 a year! But he does warn that although grocery prices are great you still need to watch out for other products that aren't always such a good price. Like a 2 pack of 6 ft. HDMI cable chords are $38 when you can find them for $2 a piece on Amazon. He also says that if you're looking for hardware that their products are very well priced. Overall Mr. Money Mustache makes a compelling case to get a Costco membership even if it isn't your closest option.

Part 2

A website that I love that is also educational would be thenewboston. I initially Just used his YouTube channels to learn how to use UDK (Unreal Development Kit) but i realized much later that he has a website with a ridiculous amount of Tutorials. Run primarily by Bucky Roberts you can find tutorials from Coding to Beauty tips or even learn Chemistry. I enjoy Bucky's videos for his simplistic and short videos along with that he is just kind of a goofy character in general. Bucky doesn't make all these videos but he does make a large chunk of the selection of these videos. they are generally short videos that help a lot if you're stuck on something in math and science or if you're just wondering how to apply certain beauty products properly. This is my go to site whenever i'm wanting to learn more about computer science subjects.

  1. I have heard statements being heard around about Costco and whether or not the investment towards their membership results in worthwhile savings, taking this review into consideration, this post gives me a more in-depth point of view about Costco's business and the motivation that drives people to purchase their membership. The statistics really help give the post its impactful statement.

The website looks rather enjoyable to the average person since it does cover a variety of topics where the person may have unanswered questions towards, especially with Bucky's character that highlights the entertainment factor of his Newboston site, leaning me to checking it out.
