Exploration 5 - Brayden Eastman

Rent vs Buy
 Part 1.
I read the article "Rent vs Buy: If you have to ask you should probably rent" by Mr. Money. He first states that knowing whether you should buy or rent a is a much larger problem then he thought. Mr. Money spends a good two pages talking about how cheap a person can really live.
I strength to his blog post is that he uses a few different simulations to how cheap a person can live. He goes through different locations using real ads for apartments and housing buildings. I think doing this overall makes his statements pretty truthful and believable. I think a weakness is that Mr. Money never does give a clear cut answer, although he explains while it is cheaper almost the entire time. Overall I still think the article was useful, he goes pretty in detail with each scenario, making it very easy to see how cheap you can live.

  Part 2.

I website that visit often and recommend you a Youtube channel. I really like this Toutube channel cause it often answers or tries to answer questions that I've never even thought about before. The Youtube channel is called Vsauce. It mostly just focuses on a question and spends around 10-20 minutes talking about it and going through what-ifs. The channel is very popular at around 9.4 million subscribers and 881 million video views. The main reason i use this site is because it makes me think about things I've never thought about, and puts things into easy perspective to understand and learn.

  1. In my article "Recovering from the Pack Rat Years" he talks about how he owns his house. I wonder why he owns a house even though he suggests renting.
