One of the ideas that stood out to me was keeping a literacy log. . . every time you read or write something, log it. I never realized how many times a day I actually did this. Even sending a text, commenting to a post on Facebook, or looking at a lunch menu, count and should be logged. I've learned that anytime you read or write anything, it is important. The more you read and write, the better you will be at it. This writing demonstrates the writing in schools. We are writing a blog on our thoughts and ideas about what we read, and are analyzing it.
I agree, I think that logging all this information is important. I also think that the only way you can improve yourself is by practicing. Reading and writing are very important in society today.
ReplyDeleteMy dad used to be a dentist overseas soits interesting to me that you want to be a dentist as well! he always pushes me to become one but I think being a general physian would suit my style more. Your idea of a literacy log intrigued me but it just seems like way to much for me! I could never keep up with writing down everything I do in a day, but you are correct with the more you read and write the better you will become at it.
