The most important idea I got from Fresh was that the farmers were trying to stay as close to the natural animal template as possible. Industrializing farms and livestock isn't how nature was originally designed. Now scientist say they have proof to back up that local farms can produce more food than industrial ones. I thought the film was very good on delivering its purpose, and was overall a very informational. It was very one sided that local farms are better for living than industrializing everything.
My biggest question from Fresh is "how bad industrialization of cows really is". Very quickly the first thing that stuck out to me that almost all of our dairy products come from an animal that is heavily reliant on genetically modified organisms. I don't want to consume anything that needs GMOs to be able to live how it is. Industrial dairy farms often pull cows away from the heard to be 4-5 because they ant in there prime anymore, when a healthy cow can produce milk for 15-20 years.
