One question I had after watching the film Fresh was whether or not the growth hormones and antibiotics used on the animals in industrial farming affect the health of the people consuming them. Through my research I found that the six growth hormones commonly used on cattle in the U.S. have been proven to significantly increase the risk of breast, prostate, and colon cancer in people in consumers of the product. It has also been proven that the growth hormones and unnatural feed have also increased the saturated fat in the meat, which is linked to obesity and heart disease.

I like the point you made about how organic farms are more sustainable and make more money on their farms. People really need to realize that those are the facts and maybe we could get a more rapid change to organic farming in america.
